Within the Rebel Commandos Unit Expansion, you’ll find a squad of seven unpainted, easily assembled Rebel Commando miniatures. You may field this unit as a full, standard unit on your battlefield or a small team operating on the edges of the map or behind enemy lines, but no matter how you position the Rebel Commandos, their unorthodox tactics and powerful weapons can sway the battle in the Rebellion’s favor. With five distinct upgrade cards that can be added to the Rebel Commandos or another unit, you’ll find everything you need to put fear in Imperial hearts with this expansion for Star Wars: Legion.
Sometimes a single unit with the right training can accomplish what an entire brigade cannot. As demonstrated on Endor, when a small Rebel strike team managed to bring down the shield generator protecting the second Death Star, these specialized troops can be invaluable to any army.
This is especially true of the Rebel Alliance, who lack the numbers to face down legions of Imperial troops in open battle. For them, a team of operatives working on the fringes of a battle can assist more traditional troops by making use of unorthodox tactics to disrupt Imperial operations.
You can now add these squads of Rebel snipers and saboteurs to your Star Wars™: Legion armies with the Rebel Commandos Unit Expansion. Whether you choose to deploy your operatives as a full unit or break them into smaller teams, the seven unpainted, easily assembled Rebel Commando miniatures in this expansion can be enhanced with five upgrade cards that further enhance their unconventional approach to the battle.
Battle-hardened veterans of the Galactic Civil War, Rebel Commandos are the best soldiers that the Alliance has to offer. Skilled in a variety of advanced combat tactics, including infiltration, sabotage, and sharpshooting, these elite troops are notorious among Imperial units and nearly legendary to their fellow Rebels. The Rebel Commandos' reputation is so great, in fact, that their mere presence on the battlefield completely changes the dynamics of a battle.
As Star Wars: Legion’s first special forces unit, the Rebel Commandos truly differentiate themselves from other troops with their specialized training that grants them abilities not seen in other troops. For example, Rebel Commandos thrive on covertly inserting themselves into critical areas of the battlefield. This makes them naturally proficient at maintaining a low profile, helping them improve their cover while they infiltrate Imperial operations.
Similarly, Rebel Commandos can’t fight an entire war for you, but they can provide your army with crucial advantages. This starts at the very beginning of the game, when they can use their Scout 2 ability to perform a speed-two move immediately after being deployed. This quick movement gives your commandos the chance to get the drop on enemy troops or immediately set up their own sniper nest in a perfect position to make use of their Sharpshooter ability.
Such abilities ultimately give the Rebel Commandos the freedom to behave differently than other trooper units. They could use their A-280 Blaster Rifles to directly attack enemy troops, but Rebel Commandos are better equipped to agitate enemy forces from afar. Fittingly then, neither of the Rebel Commandos' two heavy weapons options seek to inflict massive casualties, but instead force the opposing player to rethink their strategies.

For customers in the Uk who qualify for free shipping based on their order value we will use Royal Mail economy for orders between £20 and £24.99. A Royal Mail Second Class signed for service is offered free for orders between £25 and £49.99 within the UK. At £50 upwards customers have the option of 1st Class Signed for postage for free. On Uk orders £150 and over we offer free next day delivery via Royal Mail, or from a courier at our discretion.
Some items which are too large to be sent using these services may be sent by courier at our discretion. We also reserve the right to use the most appropriate shipping method applicable for the items being ordered. This can include adding 'signed for' services to packages where we require delivery confirmation, or using a different service from those stated above. Any changes made will be for the sole purpose of ensuring the most speedy and safe delivery of your goods, any extra costs involved in such changes will be met by us. Delivery by Courier- We like to use next day delivery services from date of dispatch when we use a courier. If you have selected to do this option you must email us the courier and service you would like your items dispatched by so we can provide a full postage quote. Please note that orders dispatched Friday will arrive Monday unless a Saturday service has been selected. If your parcel has not arrived within 15 working days of receiving our dispatch notice and it is not at the local depot, then please contact us. International Courier - We also offer different economy and express courier options (DHL and Parcelforce) for European countries with prices and delivery times varying depending on weight and destination. You may chose to cancel the order at any time up until 14 days after you have received the goods. If you chose to cancel after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for all postage costs and are completely responsible for ensuring the items are returned to us in the same condition as they were received.
If the returned goods are not returned in the same condition received, we withhold the right to deduct 50% from the refund cost or refuse the return outright.
To summarize you can nearly always return an unwanted Item within the 14 day period as long as it has not been opened, or used and is still in the original packaging, sealed as received. If you have opened and used it we will not be able to accept the return.
Damaged Or Faulty Goods
If you Have received a faulty or damaged item you must inform us within 7 working days of receiving the item. We will then offer a suitable resolution at no cost to yourself. We do reserve the right to refuse complaints, or levy suitable charges for issues raised after this period.
NOTE: Damaged cards inside blind packed products such as booster packs. In the event that a particular card is damaged inside a pack, we will only be able to replace the booster pack as being faulty (the product purchased) and not the individuals cards inside. In the rare case that this happens to you, you may benefit from contacting the manufacturer of the product for a replacement card, however they do not have any duty to fulfil this.
Other Returns
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or we have made a mistake on your order or your item has suffered a manufacturing fault, then please contact us at enquires@northerncardgaming.co.uk. Most manufacturing faults are quickly resolved through an email to the manufacturer. If you wish to return an item in these circumstances we will cover the postage costs for your return up to standard shipping.
Pre-order Cancellations
You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund until the order has shipped, which is usually one day before official release date ( On day of release for TCGs). If a pre-order product has fallen in price since you ordered it, we can refund you the difference, so you get the lower price. This applies up to the point the order is dispatched.This does not apply to any price with additional discounts codes or special offer.
